On Saturday the 6th of May SPOT will put a particular focus on electronic music with an entire line-up at the venue Tape. We are going to present no less than 9 acts, a couple of whom have already won international attention. That certainly goes for Søs Gunver Ryberg (picture), who is better known abroad than in Denmark: she has played at Berghain and the Atonal Festival (Berlin), has made a Boiler Room set  and has been rewarded with a ‘Breaking Through’ article at Resident Advisor.

She will be joined by Courtesey as a DJ. Incidentally, it is as a DJ at the Sonar Festival, in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and on tours in Asia North America and South America that Courtesey has received lots of acclaim from Pitchfork and Resident Advisor – and on top of that she has made mixes for FACT, Crack Magazine, and Boiler Room. And let us not forget Central aka Natal Zaks, who was one of the founders of the collective Regelbau, the record company Help, and the distribution network SAFE and thus shows his local roots even though Resident Advisor, Boiler Room and the deal with Dutch label Dekmantel have all boosted the international buzz. The other acts are Frederik Heidemann, Rosen & Spyddet, Grammar of Movement, Sortelegeme, Erosion Flow, and Rune Bagge.

The line-up has been compiled by players on the Danish electronic scene with experience from the street festival Distortion, etc. in collaboration with Tape and SPOT.
