SPOT Royal is the name of a list concerts with new Danish acts, who will be presented on the stage at Immervad facing The Spanish Steps.
SPOT Royal now gives Aarhus, its citizens and the tourist a concert stage, where they will be able to see new acts not just from Aarhus but from all over the country on scheduled Saturdays in the summer months.
On the 19th of August you will get the chance to meet the trio Tårn and local Folk-Pop artist Sundays
Tårn
In just one year, this trio from Funen have managed to release two critically acclaimed albums ‘Ud Ad Mit Vindue’ and ‘Velkommen Indenfor’ and have kicked in the doors to the Danish radio stations. With lead singer Erik Apollo at the centre, Tårn simply mesmerize the crowd with songs of the stuff that makes the girls’ eyes sparkle and the boys’ hearts beat faster. Tårn have grown into a confident live band over this last year, and their live performances reflect a band at the top of their game.

SUNDAYS is a new shining light from the Danish underground that revolves around songwriter Magnus Jacobsen. Stripped-to-the-bone and nerve are keywords in 29-year-old Jacobsen’s folk-pop universe, and with a band who supply tightly woven vocal harmonies and simple, organic instruments that is exactly what the audience is going to get.
