Among the latest announcements, Marching Church are worth highlighting. The former solo project from Iceage-frontman Elias Bender Rønnefeldt – now a full seven-piece band – released their second album, ‘Telling It Like It Is’ in October 2016. It has been praised by both Pitchfork and The Line of Best Fit, who called it ‘Focused and intelligent songwriting’.

The alternative-pop trio IRAH have also been added to the line-up. Their grandiose and ceremonial pop songs have won over many new fans, and they have recently been announced to play Sziget Festival this summer.

Furthermore, danish soul-singstress Nanna.B who has captivated the heart of Anderson .Paak with her electronic soul and r’n’b, danish/australian alternative rockduo Palace Winter, and the dark electro-pop from First Hate, are also new in the line-up.

Newcommers Modest, who will also be playing Roskilde Festival, retro soul band D/troit, who are on the edge of releasing new music, techno connoisseurs M€RCY, who consist of members of Reptile Yourth and When Saints Go Machine, and the dark rockers from Get Your Gun, will also be at SPOT 2017.

Besides the above mentioned, Sir Was(SE), Sebastian Lind, Louis Rustum, Rise Above (NO), PALA, Mo Swaen, MATTIS, Línt (NO), Kidmo Laran, Goss and Bogfinkevej have been added to the line-up, bringing the total to 92 acts so far.
